You may not use our products or site for any illegal or unauthorised use, including copyright and other laws. You must not transmit any viruses to our site. By using the Mala Kamala website you are agreeing to the terms and conditions listed here, including the shipping and delivery, privacy policy and our refunds and exchanges sections. We may change our terms and conditions and policies from time to time and we encourage you to review them regularly. Your continued use of these services is deemed your acceptance of these terms and any changes that apply. 

SECTION 2 - GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. Your information (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve transmissions over other networks. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are not permitted to copy, sell or resell any of our products or intellectual material without our written permission.

SECTION 3 - CHANGES TO THE SERVICE AND PRICING
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice and we may discountinue or change parts of our product at any time without notice. We will not be held liable for this. 

SECTION 4 - PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
All of our products are subject to return or exchange only according to our Refund and Exchange Policy. We have done our utmost in ensuring that we represent our products as accurately as possible through our photographs and our descriptions, however due to lighting and your computer monitors display we can not guarantee that the display of any image will be accurate. Further, we can guarantee that the photograph and descriptions will exactly match the product that you receive due to the natural variants in colour, shape, size and texture of some of the natural products that we use during the manufacturing process. Likewise, we may need to use different jewelry findings from time to time such as spacer beads, charms, clasps and thread depending on what our suppliers have available, thereby making each piece unique. We may limit the sales of our products depending on location and we may also limit the quantities of products that we have available at any one time. We may alter or discontinue our products and/or their photographs and descriptions at any time without notice. While we make every effort to do so, we do not guarantee that our products and services will meet your expectations. Always read product descriptions and only use as directed.

SECTION 5 - SIZING OF OUR PRODUCTS

Because all of our products are made from natural materials we can not guarantee that the sizing will be exact. We can only provide information based on approximate sizing as each piece of jewelry is unique. Please also note that with our mala bracelets, due to varying sizes there may be more or less beads than pictured. If you have a particular size/ bead number requirement please contact us before your purchase and we will do our very best to accommodate you.

SECTION 6 - ACCURACY OF CUSTOMER BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We may limit or cancel quantities of product purchased per person (customer account), household (shipping address) or order (credit card and other transactions), and we can refuse any order that you place with us. In these cases we will make every effort to contact you with the information that you provided us with. You must provide accurate billing and account information at all times and keep this up to date with us so that we can ensure a smooth transaction and you receive your merchandise.

Parts of our website may include materials from third-parties. We are not responsible for this content and we will not accept any liability for any of these third-party websites. We retain the right to work with third parties to collect user data for conversion tracking and serving ads target ted to users interests.

Shipping and Delivery Policy

Mala Kamala ships worldwide. We do our very best to ship all orders (with the exception of custom pieces) within 24-36 hours, except on weekends and public holidays. We might also take a little longer to ship your item during seasonal periods, sales and busy times of the year. We urge you to contact us if you have any concerns.

Please note that we do not ship to international PO Boxes.

Shipping listed on this site is for up to 5Kg only. If you are purchasing in excess of 5Kg please contact us to obtain a shipping quote and organise your payment.

We utilise parcel tracking for all standard, express and courier shipping services during the shipping process to reduce the risk of your package becoming lost in transit. Tracking numbers will be provided via the confirmation e-mail after the order is shipped. In some cases, you will need to sign for your parcel upon delivery.

If free shipping is offered and selected, standard shipping (Australia Post) with tracking will be utilised. Tracking numbers will be provided via the confirmation e-mail after the order is shipped.

While we take every precaution to ensure that your parcel arrives on time and undamaged, once your parcel leaves our hands it is out of our control therefore we pass the risk of loss on to you the buyer when the merchandise bought on this website is delivered to our shipping carrier.

We urge you to track your item using the tracking number that was supplied to you with your selected carrier, either regular shipping Australia Post or courier shipping FedEx and check their individual terms. Please note, while regular shipping is often more economical, courier shipping (FedEx) is our preferred method of shipping as it ensures a more reliable and often faster delivery of your parcels.

We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages, damaged parcels and/or missing items that are in process with the carrier. You can track your package using the tracking number that has been provided. Our prices are listed in USD dollars including GST but do not include shipping charges. If your package has not arrived in the allotted time please contact the nominated carrier.

While we are not responsible for delayed, lost, damaged or stolen packages you may contact us at any time if you have any questions about the delivery of your parcel.

For orders placed from outside Australia, international freight charges may apply. Overseas deliveries may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, fees and other local taxes levied by the destination country. Any import taxes, customs duties, fees and other local taxes are the responsibility of the customer, we are not in control over these charges and we cannot predict what they might be. Customs restrictions may also apply. Customs policies vary considerably between countries therefore we recommend that you contact your local customers and duties office to find out what import taxes, customs duties, fees and other local taxes and customs restrictions may be relevant to your purchase. Your order may also be delayed due to customs practices which we have no control.

 

Information Pertaining to Standard Shipping Method - Australia Post

For international orders, standard shipping tracking may be limited in some countries after departing Australia. For domestic orders tracking may be limited in some regional and remote areas. If you have any concerns you should contact Australia Post or your local postal service.

Please note that if you require additional peace of mind, extra cover can be purchased through Australia Post which provides you with extra coverage (up to $5000 AUD) if your item is lost or damaged during transit. If you would like to know more about this service you please visit the Australia Post website. If you decide that you would like to purchase extra coverage we will gladly organise this for you, so please contact us before you finalise your purchase to arrange a quote and your payment for additional cover. 

 

Information Pertaining to Courier Shipping Method - FedEx

Courier shipping is our preferred method of shipping as it is the best way to ensure fast and reliable delivery of your parcel.

Our courier shipping option utilises reliable end to end tracking. Whilst we use tracking on our parcels, tracking may be limited in some locations when you use our regular shipping method, Australia Post.

Our courier shipping option utilises signature on delivery for all parcels, however does not include any warranty.

FedEx offers a warranty option as an additional add-on feature for loss or damage while in transit is with the courier, which we can arrange for you for an extra charge if you wish. Please contact us if you would like us to organise this for you before you complete your purchase.

 

When Will my Order Arrive?

Standard Shipping Method - Australia Post

For standard domestic delivery, you should receive your order within 2-5 business days, while if you purchase express post (domestic) you can expect your parcel to arrive the next business day after fulfillment (if it was shipped in the morning). Please note, if you live in a regional or remote area, expected shipping times are be longer. For more information relating to expected domestic delivery times please contact Australia Post.

For international delivery, you should receive your order within 5-6+ business days (standard international post), although we can not guarantee parcel arrival times.

If your order has not arrived within the allotted time, please contact the shipping company, using the tracking number supplied to you. Tracking Australia Post. For more information relating to expected international delivery times please contact Australia Post.

 

Courier Shipping Method - FedEx

For domestic delivery to most locations you can expect your parcel to arrive between 1-3 business days.

For international delivery you can expect your parcel to arrive between 2-4 business days depending on the destination.

* Please note that Mala Kamala can not guarantee these delivery times as once the item is in transit with the nominated carrier it is no longer in our control. Please select your carrier carefully depending on your individual needs.


Return and Exchange Policy

Merchandise that has been worn, used or original tags removed cannot be returned. This includes perfume. Sandalwood and other beads have their own specific smell, and if you return a piece of jewelry to us which smells different to its original condition we can not re-sell it. It also signifies that it has been worn. If you return your pieces to us please ensure that they are in original condition and have not been worn, otherwise they will returned to you un-exchanged.

While we do not refund for change of mind, we do offer exchanges and store credit. Items that have not been worn (in original condition) or used and still have their original tags and packaging in place may be returned within 14 days of arrival for exchange (excluding sale items and custom pieces). This if applicable for example if you have ordered the wrong size, or the piece isn't what you thought it would be. All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the sender. You will also be required to cover the cost of shipping your product back to you. If you have been sent the wrong item please contact us immediately so that we may rectify the problem and we will cover the cost shipping. Please also send your proof of purchase and all of the original packaging.

Please note that Mala Kamala does not cover courier charges, customs charges, duty or import taxes or any type of fees for returns. These are the sole responsibility of the customer. If fees are payable you will be asked to cover them or your product will be returned back to you, un-exchanged. To return your item you must choose prepaid shipping, it must be insured, and have a tracking number. We are not responsible for lost packages in transit with the carrier, this is the responsibility of the sender. To return or exchange your package please contact us immediately.

Custom jewelry and sale items can not be refunded, returned or exchanged. 

If your mala arrives broken or breaks within 14 days of arrival we will replace or repair your piece for free at our own discretion. All jewelry will be subject to inspection to determine correct care and use. You must contact us immediately if your piece has broken and include a picture. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer exchange or free repairs when contact is made after 14 days of arrival.

 

Mala Repairs

To ensure longevity of your pieces please read the information on our page How To Choose, Use and Care For Your Mala.

We are sorry to hear that your beloved mala broke! But don't worry, what this actually means is that the karmic cycle is broken and your malas work is done. You are making progression in your life and this is something to celebrate.

If your mala arrives broken or breaks within 14 days of arrival we will replace or repair your piece for free at our own discretion. All jewelry will be subject to inspection to determine correct care and use. You must contact us immediately if your piece has broken and include a picture. Unfortunately we will not be able to offer exchange or free repairs when contact is made after 14 days of arrival.

If you're not ready to let go though just yet or would like us to repair the karmic cycle for another journey, you may wish to utilise our re-stringing service of $94 per mala.

To begin the repair process add repair my mala to cart, checkout and then contact us and we will send you our mailing address. After you have contacted us and have our mailing address, ship your mala to us and we will have it repaired and returned to you as soon as we can. Prices may vary depending on your product type and if we also need to replace lost beads. In this case we will be in contact with you during the repair process.

Please note that as per the return and exchange policy you will be responsible for all shipping costs as well as any customs, duties, fees and taxes. If fees are payable you will be asked to cover them or your product will be returned back to you, un-repaired. To return your item you must choose prepaid shipping, it must be insured, and have a tracking number. We are not responsible for lost packages in transit with the carrier, this is the responsibility of the sender.
